Stanrite Model 2700 tripod

I'm a beginner, and I have a chance to buy an old Stanrite Model 2700 tripod. Would this tripod be compatible with a K-50? Also, are there any quick release plates that i could install on this tripod. Thanks for your attention.

Unless it is incredibly cheap (less than a coffee), save your money and get a more modern one. Ebay ads describe it as vintage ; that is, ancient.

Your camera will fit just fine on top of this. But I agree with 35mmfilmfan. Save the money and buy a modern one. Like the Manfrotto 290
