Pentax K-S2 body replacement?

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to get some advice on a good body option. I have had my Pentax K-S2 for a couple years now and awhile back it had an issue with the aperture not working properly. At that time I still had the warranty so I sent it into Ricoh and they fixed it. Now almost a year later, I'm having the same issue. It's a little frustrating so I'm thinking of just buying a new body all together. I'm not sure if all Pentax lenses work on all Pentax bodies? I'm a little new to this so if I could get some advice, that would be awesome!

Thanks in advance!

I suspect it is the same issue as discussed here: K-30 / K-50 Aperture Block Failue - Repair Solution available - PentaxForums.com

Newer bodies support all older lenses (and usually newer lenses as well), so lens compatibility is not an issue.

The K-70 would be a natural upgrade, while the KP would be a step up in terms of quality and it's what I would recommend.

It's likely to be an $8 solenoid that needs to be replaced, Scarletshamir - but somebody has to do it.

What do you think of the K-3?

It's a great camera it terms of speed and durability, but it has an older UI compared to the K-S2, hence I recommend the newer models which will make you feel right at home.
