There are many cures but addictions can always return if you simply enjoy collecting; itʻs the squirrel in our DNA:
a) Go into serious debt.
b) Buy the best and often priciest optics so you know that anything similar is a waste of time and money.
c) Convert your DSLR into a fixed non-interchangeable camera. Super glue, epoxy, solder, or weld your favorite lens on permanently.
d) Move to anyplace without roads, a post office, electricity, or cell and satellite reception (Antarctic ice cave).
e) Dump Pentax and switch to an all Leica system:
Leica S (Typ 007) Medium Format DSLR Camera (Body Only) 10804
f) Spend your lens money on travel money instead. This will not only redirect your funds, you will be discouraged from carrying all those non-essential lenses.
g) Give me all your gear and buy a Nikon Coolpix P900 non-interchangeable 24-2000mm (35mm equiv.) zoom.
My own straight advice:
h) Develop your style of photography and stick to it. When I studied the photographers I admired, I realized they
didnʻt do everything under the sun. They were really good at one sort of thing and their portfolios and web sites had
both thematic content and technique. Ever since, 90% of my own work is with two prime lenses. The greatest limitation is usually my own skills or imagination, not the lens.
