Pentax 645z HSS Problems

Hey guys,

I got a 645z a few weeks ago and I am in love with the camera. A bit of a learning curve working with it quickly, but I am getting there. One problem I can't figure out is, how to make it work in HSS mode. I got a dedicated Metz 58 AF-1 after reading that it high speed syncs with the 645z, but I can't get it work. I set the flash on P-TTL HSS, but as soon as I got over 1/125, it doesn't show up on the exposure. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

I have a 645z as well, best camera I've ever had (after years of Canons, a few Pentaxes, and I like my K1 a lot).
With a Pentax AF540FGZ II flash. When you say "it doesnt show up on the exposure", am not sure what you mean.
Do you have the latest firmware (1.3.0) in the camera?
What are your settings - am not sure if I can try to reproduce as I have a different flash, but figure we 645z owners have to help each other out.
