K-3ii live view sensor bumping around

I've had my first dslr for less then a year and when I switch to live view I can hear the sensor moving around and bumping in to the camera as I turn to take pictures. I turned the camera off, took off the lens, started the camera, and switched to live view. As I move the camera I can see the sensor moving rapidly and hitting the housing. Is this normal or do I need to send it in for repair?

It's not normal for it to be hitting anything. Does the live view image look ok?

Actually, it is normal, especially if the camera thinks there's longish lens on the camera.

In live view, the camera tries to stabilize the image. If you move to change composition or follow a subject, the sensor will run out of adjustment room, hit the housing, recenter and keep trying to hold the image steady.
