Can you provide some more details as to how it does not work? The camera doesn't take a picture? You don't get the result you want? The picture is too light/dark?

It works perfectly fine on the K-3II and K-30, so there's no reason it shouldn't work on the K-1II. You do need to set up the camera to use manual lenses, which includes the menu setting for "Use Aperture Ring" to Enable. Of course the camera will not control aperture (that's the Waterhouse plates). And the camera will not be able to see the focal length, as there's no electronic coupling to the body. You have to manually set the focal length at power up, and 64mm isn't a choice. I use 65mm, that's close enough.

Sure does! You can expect sharp, glowy-soft, images. It's a fun lens to play with but not universally applicable. I get my best results using Live View and adjusting my focus with the aperture diaphragm in place. Focusing through the OVF is possible too but more difficult. Two sample pics below. You can see full size images on my Flickr account.

Indeed it does work. Set the camera to manual focus and M mode, insert the blade you want, press the green button to measure exposure and focus as well as you can, then fire away!

It should work.

Make sure you enable the "aperture ring other than A" custom function.
