If we do as well today as we did yesterday, that is a definite possibility.
Yesterday we made over 2100 posts - we began today needing 2044 posts to reach 80%.
I record only end of day {UTC} counts, but my recollection is that the noon EDT count today was roughly the same as it was yesterday.

Yes, but in June and July, most people who posted over 100 times in one day accomplished that by commenting on lots of old photos. Adam restricted that early this month, and shorty after that you were commenting on the lack of any big numbers. According to my memory, Bert was the first person with a post total over 200 since those restrictions were put in place.

I believe you are correct

my point is that the forum has a lot of areas where you can post or start a thread and there is no restrictions on those areas

my post count today is beyond my normal range

I go to my Activity tab and pull up my posts. There are 25 listed per page, so count back until you get to your first post on 8/1.

That is a good tip; though I'm not aiming for 180. Anything over 10 would make me happy enough.
