The K200D has it. Otherwise you could not use an RF remote, which needs the wired remote input to trigger the camera.

In the past I used these occasionally with my K200D, as the better RF remotes offer timer controlled actuations, which is not implemented in the K200 firmware.

When I had my K50 I used one of these with an Ir remote from the back, worked just fine. It attaches well using a hair tie up.

And exactly that is the reason why I don't like the ir-remote. Even with the top models you can't be shure to get the camera triggered by infrared. it works only from Front or Back with a relative small angle. Because all my cam's are capable of wired triggering I use a yongnuo rf 603 radio trigger.

From P33 of the manual: The K-70 takes an external wired remote via the external input device terminal.

Yes, it's the green looking button thing above the AF switch on the back of the camera. I got my manual out and looked it up.

one of the very nice things about the forum is that you can often find documentation in the " User Reviewers "

AF with Remote Control. It duplicates the Shutter button. Works on Canons too.
