Is my new 14mm rokinon junk?

allright, i just submitted a request for rma. fingers crossed for the next one.

Yeah its not the best copy perhaps, but not nearly as bad as the last 14mm I got from Samyang (that was apparently "within specifications"). I gave up sadly.

I had to adjust the infinity stop on my Rokinon, but on a good copy you get pinpoints of light when you shoot stars. Don’t give up. Once you get a good copy you’ll love it.

btw its killing me right now because i cant get a clear night sky to see how it looks there. i mean i bought the lens with the intention of shooting the stars wide open.
