A few questions:
  • What were you trying to do?
  • Where did the message appear?
  • What browser and operating system?

Direct or hot link blocking is usually done on the server side of the resource you are trying to link to. Review the target site's TOS and sharing policies.

The linked file is at Pbase and they are known for that sort of thing. Only certain classes of paid membership are allowed direct linking. Attempts by others results in a "you are denied" file being sent instead of the requested image file. This site is peppered with the "denied" graphic. Talk to Pbase and see if they can suggest why this is happening.

Thank you one and all, I should have known that. The image was in a password protected folder, just copied it out and all is good.

Very nice, and I'm sure as capable as it looks. My silver MIJ FA 77mm and FA 43mm Limiteds look great on my silver KP bodies also, as these older generations match so well with this latest.

Yes, the silver Limiteds look nice on a silver KP. The A50/1.2 is was a victim of neglect and abuse, blemished but mechanically sound. I had it fully disassembled, stripped and made silver to disguise the blemishes. If operates as new.
