Pentax K-7 and Rokinon 16mm manual

I have looked through my User's Manual, and couldn't find anything on this.

Does anyone know why my K-7 does not recognize the correct focal length on my 16mm f2.0 prime? The closest the K-7 assesses is 15mm, which I am fine with, but I am wondering if it affects my pictures significantly?

And, can this be resolved?

Thank you!

No, it will not affect the image quality. Selecting 15mm should be fine.

Manual focus lenses do not transmit focal length information, hence you need to set it yourself via the menu.

Thank you Adam. While I was hoping there might be a hidden menu to manually input a different number than the provided selection list, I will continue to select 15mm.

The camera is asking for the focal length in order to make Shake Reduction the most effective. If the exact focal length is not offered, choosing the closest is, obviously, perfectly fine.

I have been using the Rok 16 with my K-70 for about a year and everything is fine.
