The power of a well worded internet search knows no bounds.

Congrats on your fine new camera.

Manual

Yes, that response was great.
It took me a while because that manual is large.
May I ask if there is a difference between an SLR and a SR for the Manual?
Oh I want to download a manual for my K-m digital SR

SR stands for "Shake Reduction"
The link provided is for the K-m DSLR.
What are we missing here Brad?

If it's a digital K-m then yes, that's the right manual. There's only one version of that camera.

SR is a feature of the camera (Shake Reduction). All Pentax DSLR cameras since 2006 with the exception of the K110D have SR...

A lot of times, when you search for a manual, you get results from sites that promise everything and deliver nothing!

As mentioned, SR means "Shake Reduction", so the shake reduction technology is in the body itself. SLR is Single Lens Reflex, which is the TYPE of camera it is (as apposed to a TLR, twin lens reflex or Mirrorless, which the K-m is neither of those). The K-m IS an SLR type of camera.

I hope this clears it up for you.

I was able to obtain the original instruction manual for my Pentax 645Z from KEH (left it outside in the rain). I sent the an email inquiry and they responded quickly. More convenient and inexpensive.
