Why is this not talked about more? This is the first and only topic I've found about this subject. My 60-250 after some use (rougher woods use I guess) is unable to produce a sharp image at full length, it comes out disorted when at 100%. I can play with the tip a little (lol), and if the position is juuuuuuuust right get a kind-of decent image, but thats after like 10 or 20 tries. The wobble is 1-1,5mm at most, and kind-of tilts more to one side. I'm very tempted to take it apart and see whats inside, but I'm not sure that I would not make it worse. Don't really have any good services here (The Most Eastern of Europe) to take it in to.

Is the lens still under warranty?
I guess yor first option would be to ask at a Photopoint shop (three in Tallin, two in Tartu) where to send it for repair.
One option would be to send it to Kameraservice, Kungsör in Sweden. They are licensed by Ricoh.

Thanks for the response. Photopoint is the one I'm considering at the moment as well. Warranty is long gone, the lens is almost a decade old. I dont see this repair being any less than 500€ and I'm uncertain how well they know about fixing these lenses, but as they are licenced, then they kinda have to be I guess .

Got it back and fixed now. Was sent to pentax in Germany. It WORKS once again. Price for the fix was quite steep, the same as used lenses here @ 360€, but it is as good as new. They seem to have fixed the jammy zoom as well, that kept getting stuck at 80-90 range. Lets see how long the thing lasts.
