Not turning the shutter dial until it clicked

So my friend recently borrowed my K1000, and when she was setting the shutter speed, she didn’t turn the dial all the way until it clicked, and took 1 shot. Will this damage the internals?

Welcome to the Pentax Forums!

Doing so should not cause damage, but might not be the best idea if between the "B" and "1000" marks.
