Metz and Quantum flash with Pentax KP & K3?

I have an old Metz 45 CT 1 flash and a Quantum Qflash model T2. If I use them on my K3 or KP camera will they harm my flash trigger? Thank you in advance for your help.

Welcome to the Pentax Forums!

According to the Photo Strobe Trigger Voltage page (LINK)...

Metz 45CT1 = 600V

Quantum QFlash T2 = 8V

You want to keep the Metz away from your KP unless used with a Wein Safe Sync or similar. The Quantum is probably safe, but given the age of the flash, I would still recommend checking the trigger voltage.

I hope this helps.
