Now the japanese dealer answered and there’s no Finnish option in his camera, only English.

Entering Debug Mode is easy enough if you know the required file names. I have done it with one of my Pentax cameras, though I don't remember which or why. Instructions for the K30 are in this thread, but I haven't found the details for the K70.
Could you tell me how to enter debug mode for k-50?

Would the language options change if you did a firmware update from Ricoh global site?

Limited "Western" menu language support on cameras sold in East Asian markets is long standing in Pentaxland. While a firmware update might increase the number of languages supported by the camera, it is unlikely to broaden East Asian menu offerings to include Western languages beyond English. Having regional quirks is part of the joy of buying off-shore and acting as your own importer. Things are even more fun when one needs warranty work!

(...a lens purchased new from a Canadian online store will carry the two-year warranty, but must be physically present in Canada for the warranty to be honored...no cross-border shipping...the things we learn here at PF...)

My friend in the Cook Islands bought a Leaf (car) from Japan and all the menus and displays are in Japanese. There are very limited options to change, none of which is English. Those sold for foreign markets have a wide range of language choices. There are several companies in New Zealand that will change the firmware so the displays are in English. And update the GPS map database for New Zealand.

Hi Steve my post #15 in this thread states, in the specs for the K-70 that Finnish is in the options list. Although here is a shot from my K-70 menu.

I understand what you are saying, that your camera reflects what is in the spec and that you believe that the K-70 has the same choices globally. The OP says the dealer in Japan told him other wise. At present, the OP has not yet made a purchase and if they do find that Suomi is not a choice for Japanese buyers, they can deal with it at that time. What I and others were suggesting is that enabling western languages is probably not a problem should that be the case.

On the occasion recently bought a very cheap К-50 (the previous owner bought this camera in Japan). There were only two languages in the cell - English and Japanese. I decided to try to make all languages available. I started looking for how to make additional languages available ... and found how to do it...

As a rule, those cameras that are sold on eBay marketplaces have only two languages in the initial settings - English and Japanese. Follow these steps to enable additional languages. Everything turns out to be quite simple. I will try to write in more detail (on the example of K-50):

1) on the computer desktop, right click ... select "create" - select "new - text document" ... create a file, give it the name: 00077750.545
you get a text file with this name: 00077750.545.txt, double click to open it and paste this: [OPEN_DEBUG_MENU] (you can just copy from here, copy the text as is, along with the square brackets)
close, save and rename again: 00077750.545 (already without ".txt")

2) create a second file... on the computer desktop, right click .. select "create" - select "new - text document".. create a file, give it the name:
will be created DEVELOP.MOD.txt... but the extension ".txt" is not needed! need: DEVELOP.MOD (already without ".txt"), the file icon will change..

3) copy both files to SD card.. there may be a folder with photos on the card (this does not interfere) ... and your two files will be next to the folder:

4)Insert the prepared SD card into the camera, then leave the card door open and turn on the camera. The camera will enter debug mode. Immediately after switching on, you will see this picture:

Use the camera joystick to move down to the REGION CODE line.
Set the area REGION CODE to “00” (pushing the joystick left), press the “Menu” button (the screen will turn off) and turn off the camera.
Close the compartment door.

The next time you turn on the camera, additional languages will appear in the language selection:

00077680.536

00077681.541 [OPEN_DEBUG_MENU] and a space after it.
DEVELOP.MOD empty file

K-7 v1.01
MODSET.474 [OPEN_DEBUG_MENU]

P. S. The same principle can be used for the K-70 by creating the appropriate files (00077770.524 and DEVELOP.MOD).
