As long as you don't expect mountain scenery
The Fens, south-east of Peterborough, are unlike anything else in Britain except maybe the Somerset levels, more like the Netherlands or parts of the USA mid-west - absolutely flat, open and treeless rich agricultural land. The Fen scenery is a special taste, and you don't get tourists there. Yet the UKs geatest landscape painter, Constable, did his best known work in a small area of East Anglia, not The Fens, and you do get tourists there.
The Lock by Constable
PS: Ironic that the icon for attaching a picture here on PF is a mountain.
