RICOH O-RC1 K1 for a puzzler

Hi,
I would appreciate any help in how to get the O-RC1 to work with my K1.
I know it should be easy but I am at a loss.

Set the K1 drive mode for remote operation. It's that simple.

You also need to have the remote pointing at either the front or back of the camera where the receivers are, otherwise it can be hit or miss.
