I agree- getting an extended warranty makes a lot of sense when buying a new K-70. It certainly does have much more to offer compared to other entry-level APS-C DSLR choices. I do like my little K-S2 a lot. Hopefully, I'll be among the lucky buyers. Got it at very low cost with the tiny DA-L 18-50mm lens in a closeout deal after the K-70 came, and it's great for casual use in social gatherings, doing a selfie with a friend, etc. yet if a need arises for more advanced use, maybe even throwing on another lens, the camera is amazingly capable. So it gets only occasional use, but a good tool to have on certain occasions.
