Cheap lens but what mount?

Wasp makes a good point about cap semi-interchangability. Perhaps the "N" cap being 3rd party, with looser tolerances, makes it easier to fit onto the Chinon lens.

The slot opposite the aperture lever tells the camera what the lens aperture is. A f1.4 lens would have the start point further round than an f8 lens. The slot moves with the aperture ring.
