I'm not familiar with your particular camera, but the
*ist manual specifically states "Infra-red film cannot be used. This camera uses infra-red rays to detect film transport … " so I'd imagine the MZ-S might be the same.
This was a source of disappointment for me, having bought my
*ist, as I was a big fan of infra-red film … I made "alternative" arrangements!
