Ordering from the Ricoh Pentax refurbished website

After logging in to the Ricoh Pentax refurbished/open box site, I am unable to load any item into my cart. What am I missing or doing wrong?
Thanks for any suggestions or explanations.

That means none is available. They are listed probably as a place holder. When one is available, there will be an "add to cart" button that allows to order.

If there is no "buy" button it usually means the item is out of stock.

Yeah, I experienced this when I was looking at a KP they had on their site. Took me a few mins to figure it out after I found another listing with an active buy button. Was very disheartening to me to see the KP and it not available.

Pentax used to have full one year warranty on refurbished product. To me that shows that service was done properly. Now refurbished product has 90 days like everyone else.

Yeah, that got me, too... the $250 21mm that I couldn’t buy... it’s still there, taunting me...

They got me with a $799 open box DA* 11–18. They really should hide things that aren’t actually available as refurbished or open box.

I got excited with the Gr III open box and had the same thing happen. Some really good deals to be had, but you definitely need to stalk the site to get the most out of it.

I may check it every single day to see if they have a DA* 11–18. Just maybe…

Is there no way to get a notification on new available items?

Thanks for the explanation about how the refurb site works. I was also surprised that no phone number or email address was listed to order items.

I, too, was burned by this before realising how it works. Seems Ricoh wants to torture us for some bizarre reason.

Yes, it well worth checking into that site once a week.

I ummed and arrred over a GRII for a while. Waited too long and they sold out. I should have pulled the trigger.

That's (visit and check daily/weekly etc) is a kind of marketing idea I'd love not to see from my favourite brands :/

I mean I have a feeling it’s less malicious and more the website isn’t really set up primarily as a point of sale, and that the budget/skill/desire of the people maintaining isn’t there to improve that part. It’s frustrating, but doesn’t come off as a marketing angle.
