K3 firmware update issue

It must be a MacOS thing because the same zip file is used for Windows or Macs. When I list the contents of the zip file the file name is fwdc220b.bin. No "-2". Windows will rename duplicate files when you save or copy them by adding a "(n)" to the file name. Perhaps the Mac Finder does something similar.

Glad it worked for you.

As Adam noted before the most common problems preventing updates are not putting the file in the root directory or incorrectly named file.

I deleted the -2 from the K3 download and it also worked for me. Thanks to everyone for your help.

I did a search to make sure there were no other files with the same name downloaded(there weren't), and it still downloaded with the -2 added. Strange.
