I got a 1000mm F:8 k-mount lens recently that has a broken screw for the camera rotation feature. the screw is not attached to the lens mount anymore, and I am not sure exactly how this one works, it seems like it is different Han the similar screws on the 1000mm Reflex, and the 1000mm Takumar version doesn't have a screw like it.
I have looked at the screw I have, and it is hollow inside, with a tiny spring inside it, which I suppose must have had something to do with a ball bearing or something that made the click-lock work every 90 degrees.
The screw I have does not screw it, and I am guessing but I think the black ring underneath the knurled gripping edge is supposed to be attached to the mount, and not stuck to the screw, but that's the info I can't confirm without having a working 1000mm lens.
can someone post some closeups of the screw and what it looks like tightened and extended. Also, if it doesn't involve breaking the lens, what happens if you completely unscrew the screw, and what is inside it or underneath it.
