You may well be too good to be true, but what's that got to do with anything?

My keyboard is sticking on some letters. I say some pretty weird stuff. I couldn't spell before, this is ridiculous.

Does anyone ķnow if the global correction setting and settings for individual lenses are additive? For example, if I set a global correction of +5 and set differing correction amounts for individual lenses, does the global figure get added to the individual figure before being applied to the individual lens? I was wondering because I seem to need more than the -10 setting for one of my lenses.
From what I understand they are not additive.
Global will change the adjustment for all attached lenses period.
Individual will only change for the specific lens that's attached without affecting the other lenses.
It can't be combined.

As I wrote up thread, users should fill out the support contact form on the Ricoh website. That is much more likely to get attention than hoping that someone at Ricoh is reading a random thread on an unaffiliated message board.
^^ This.

Pentax Forums is a privately owned website, a discussion place for fans, it is not a feedback mechanism to Ricoh Imaging.

I've been here years, yet there's no way I would post here if I wanted some change in a product!

Thanks for that - I kind of thought that was probably the case.

Fine tuning AF on K-3III not working with 1.4TC

QuoteOriginally posted by erikro Quote
Hi fellows.
On my K-1 II I can fine tune the autofocus for my DA300mm and DA300mm + 1.4TC and it gives different results. OK
But on my K-3III there is no difference whether I have 1.4TC or not.
Then I use DA300mm alone, it's OK, but if I put 1.4TC on, the pictures are out of focus!
If I adjust the focus so that it fits with 1.4TC, the pictures will be fine, but if I take 1.4TC off, fine tuning does not fit on the DA300mm.
It's the same with my DFA 150-450mm.
It seems like the camera can not see that I have a TC mounted.
Have others observed this?
I raised this on the Pentax Euro site and had a reply this morning:-

Just await the firmware update now!

Nice to know. I reported this to Pentax in May and didn't get any response back.

Pentax have just released a new update to the K3-3 Firmware [1.20] that addresses the problem of not recognising the converter. Unfortunately, it won't download at the moment!

I've just downloaded it to my Samsung tablet OK, but couldn't download to my Windows 10 PC.
