Pentax 6x7 Shutter Speed Issue

Hello!

I've been thinking of getting a Pentax 6x7 and I found one listed in some classifieds, however they say that the shutter fires at 1/15th of a second on any speed.

Before I went and got it, I just wanted to know if this is more of a major problem or a minor one, if it's not too bad I wouldn't mind getting it and just getting it repaired, so I thought I'd stop here and check.

Avoid that camera. It will be no end of trouble and repair costs will exceed its worth.

Don't buy a camera that isn't working unless you are intending to strip it for parts to fix another camera that isn't working. Unfortunately, the Pentax 6x7 cameras are all getting old, with the possibility of mechanical failures compounding with age, and the inability to repair becomeing a very real possibility due to the lack of spare parts.

Yep best look for a Pentax 67 model which will be much newer and have a better chance on being fully functional.
