Pentax Espio 120 Not Taking Photos

Hello! I have been using my Pentax Espio 120 for months. I loaded a film roll and when I took a photo, the shuttter fired, but the film did not advance and the display that gave the photo number (1 before I shot) became a blinking “- -“. The only way I could stop the blinking - - was to turn off and on the camera at which the display said 1 again. The same issue happened with a different roll of film. Any debugging helps would be greatly appreciated!

No debugging possible. It needs parts that have not been available for a long time and you can get one on ebay for $80-120.
