Change Date and Time on Pentax K-5

I just bought a used Pentax K-5. I am unable to change the date and time. The user manual only tells you how to set it the first time. Can anyone help? I did a google search to no avail. Thank you.

Okay, ask a question, figure it out. I went to Menu and then just kept clicking to the right and it finally got to spot that allowed me to set it. No rhyme or reason as to how I got there, just click, click, click until you see what you want.

Welcome to the Forum.

Good you found it; but there is logic to the menu. Across the menu to the "wrench" page 1, down to date adjustment, right to enter date adjustment,Then you can change the date format/24 or 12 hour time, down to date -right to change, date, left each time to get back to the date adjustment page, last item is time, left to exit time, then down to settings complete and click ok, then menu to exit. The green "arrows" show you there is more to do or to exit/change the value.

You change the date the same way as you set it the first time.

In the printed manual index, under Date Adjustment, it'll reference you to p67 … or in the pdf version just do a search for date
One big advantage of the pdf version is being able to search for keywords, rather than hoping the word/phrase you're using has been included in the index (Time isn't in the index!)

Good you got there by yourself, but don’t be shy in asking for help in future. You’ll find lots of helpful people with good knowledge, here.
