Can’t seem to focus

I suggest opening a new thread. In it state the correct camera and clarify if the camera tries to focus but fails to do so accurately via the viewfinder and via the liveview (lcd) mode. Additionally try magnified manual focus using the rear lcd. Lastly note if distance and/or focal length change the results.

This will set the slate right and attract k-3 owners who might have ideas.

Can it be that these photos are taken through a window?
Of a very bad or dirty UV-filter?
