I'm a beginner both with KS2 and with this forum.
I would like to use my old macro zoom, that used to work with an old (not digital) PENTAX camera. This is VIVITAR 28-135 mm 1.3-3.5 MC Macrozoom. It provides an aperture ringwith a "Aj" position. I suppose that autofocusing is not available but it is not a problemn for me, I prefer manual focusing.
I tried to use it but the KS2 refuses to shoot...
Could you help me? (wich mode could work? Wich parameters?)
Thanks a lot,
Laurent
Hello Laurent,
I can't find your specific lens in the review section, so lets put it that way: if AF was available on your SLR it will also work on your DSLR.
When your aperture ring is turned to the "A" position this lens should work like every new lens without aperture ring (with the aperture controlled via the camera), if you want to use the aperture ring (not really a reason to do so) to control the aperture you have to activate the option to allow the actuation of the shutter, when using the aperture ring, in the camera menu (like pjv posted).
