No, there are no PDAF pixels on the sensor. Live View uses a different focusing method called CDAF.
So, Live View Pentax gets you all the pixels for picture making where other mirrorless cameras don't.
By the way, Panasonic know that this is a problem and use only CDAF in their cameras, even the top of the line models, AFAIK.
Naturally, they will focus slower, so this is an intrinsic problem with a camera lacking a mirror and dedicated autofocus sensor.
