Hi!

I've been playing with my Asahiflex IIA and reading the manual..

I can't seem to figure out how to attach a remote shutter release to the trigger...

Manual page #16 explains that the cover can be unscrewed and a remote can be attached.
Manual page #31 even shows a picture of the cable hanging from the camera.




I can unscrew the outer cover, but I do not see how I can attach a remote shutter.
Maybe the Asahiflex use a special (non-standard) remote shutter release?
The ones I'm used to have a push-pin style syringe that would press into a hole in the shutter button itself.
But the Asahiflex does not have a hole. You unscrew the cover... but there is still a button in the middle that won't easily come off.
Maybe the Asahiflex needs a paddle style remote shutter?

Would you please let me know what I'm missing about these remote shutters on the Asahiflex?

there is a cable for asahiflex. it looks like it attaches to the screw where the cover goes.

That serves similar to how the Nikon F2 connects a cable release.
