Yet, a little more exposure.
I’m unclear. Jpg SOOC or raw converted to jpg? Custom balance or auto? Standard jpg profile (which one) or custom jpg profile? Most conversations about color science in every brand tend to suggest you can alter them all to taste.

Image #4.

Last, but not least, a little more exposure.

I failed to mention that none of these images were taken using Live View. Used a tripod, with Auto-Focus.

Thnx for viewing. Tony

These images were all SOOC, no adjustments were effected unless by PF. As indicated in EXIF Data, I used Auto White Balance.

Thanks very much.

Image of Red Rose taken with Canon gear.

This is as close to the actual red color of this subject. I like this capture a lot. This image is SOOC unless adjustments were effected by PF.

Thanks very much for viewing.

An adjusted image taken with: Pentax k-7 body and an SMC Takumar F 70~210mm Lens.

I went ahead and deleted the first image and then made a copy and effected editing changes. Nothing I did had any effect on the exposure level and color.

This image is Straight JPEG, no Raw File converions. Used Auto-White Balance. No Live View. Tripod used along with built-in Speedlight, even on a day with harsh

sunlight. I like this a lot and will do more editing prior to posting in PYP. Thanks very much for viewing.

On my older Pentax cameras (*ist DS, K20D) the oranges came out much brighter than expected, at least when printing. Not sure if that is related or not, since there is the added complexity of the printing system.

Thank you! You make an excellent point. It is not the same as placing a document on a Xerox Copier. Appreciate the info.
