Good morning all, I'd like to begin with a tip for motorists coping with inflation.
Save money on expensive personalised number plates by simply changing your name to match your existing registration.
That's why I'm now "Ian RK14YTS".
I do like to help, but it's not always welcomed. I tried donating blood yesterday, but never again.
Too many stupid questions ...
'Whose blood is it?" ...
"Where did you get it from?" ...
"Why is it in a bucket?" ...
Anyway, this week, I wanted to mention that you can bring humour into your photography, even still life.
The 'Kilroy Was Here' kind of gag I got from a Russian photography website ... may have been COOP? But the idea is to shoot everyday objects in unusual contexts. During lockdown I even did some with toilet rolls. I guess I got cabin fever, right? 🙂
To finish with, there's the story of the plane from Sydney coming in to land.
"As soon as I clock off," the pilot said, not realising he'd forgotten to turn off the PA system, "I'm going to have a nice cold beer and then have a crack at that hot flight attendant."
The horrified attendant made a dash towards the cockpit, but tripped over a suitcase in the aisle.
A little old lady sitting in an aisle seat whispered, "There's no need to hurry, dear - he said he was going to have a beer first!"
