just checking if anyone has had any dealings with map camera, tokyo, good or bad, seems they have a good rating?

I've made several purchases from Map Camera, both through eBay and their own website - their descriptions of equipment is usually spot on and their shipping is usually ridiculously fast....

I would not hesitate to recommend them..

I bought a Camera there. Very good experience + instant cash refund for foregin passport holder /non resident tourists ,used to be 8 % and no processing fees now cash refund 10%?

Tax included 65970 yens .Tax exempt 59973 ( for illustration as item is sold out)

However beware Sony and some? Panasonic wont have English menu .

Yes, excellent.Most Japanese camera resellers are good to deal with.

MAP have a big range of used gear.

i bough a few very expensive lenses from them on ebay , last one my da560 , great - great packing , detail description . excellent service

Yes, I purchased a lens from them. Like others have said, description of lens condition was accurate and shipping was surprisingly fast to the U.S.

Bought the DA Limited 40mm & 70mm lenses from them. Quick shipping & they arrived looking better than what they had described them on eBay. Practically almost like new.

A couple of years ago I bought a FA sliver MIJ 77mm from them.
Great condition, shipped and arrived lightening fast.

mixed. About a month ago I ordered a 77 Limited & it arrived three days later. Last week I ordered a 43 Limited and it hasn't arrived yet and requires a signature, which is always a hassle. Not sure why this is one is different but not as happy.

One of the few japanese sellers I'd still recommend. I've bought a couple of things from them and the descriptions have all been accurate.
