Android Phone as Auxiliary Monitor

Request Download Link for the Software to use with my Pentax K-5 IIs so that my Android Phone can be used as a Monitor.
I am stuck with the fixed LCD Screen on my DSLR and can use the Phone mounted Horizontal on the Hot Shoe.
Thanks in Advance.

I'm pretty sure that is not possible with the K-5 IIs

You'll need a more recent Wi-Fi enabled camera body, or a K-3 with a Flu Card.

You can use the HDMI out from the K5-IIs and use a device such as this one or something like this one and attach it to the body

I think you need an HDMI capture device (link below) which outputs using a USB type A male connection (you also need a USB type-A to USB type-C cable and your phone must have the newer USB type-C connector). Not all phones are capable of producing a display from an external USB input, and you'll have to find an app that makes this work (e.g., USB Camera Pro-paid version;Endoscope HD Camera; and others ) if your phone is capable.

I've been looking into this myself but haven't yet tried it, so this is at an experimental stage. Of course, your camera must have a non-4K HDMI output (you might need another adapter cable to get from your camera micro or mini-HDMI into the HDMI capture device which uses a standard sized HDMI input connector). The YouTube link below goes into putting this type of system together. Also, there is the ACCSOON device that accomplishes about the same thing with the advantage of taking an external battery (link below).

Thanks Bob for your very helpful reply. Bought all the items (hardware) from WISH or AliExpress at 1/3rd the prices compared to Amazon. Also bought the Phone Swivel Mount Hot Shoe Adapter very cheap from China - allows the phone in vertical or horizontal axis. No success yet as most of the APPS are for Canon, Nikon or Sony.
Pentax already supplies the HDMI Cable with the K-5 IIs DSLR.
