Shutter release button sensitivity

Hello, I recently acquired a ME Super after shooting a roll on my friend's. It feels like the shutter release button on mine is far less sensitive (has to be pushed in much further) than on my friend's. I'm hoping to find out if this is a normal variance, if it indicates that a part is wearing out, and/or if it's fairly easy to fix.
Thank you!
