AE lock was ON according to EXIF, and you mentioned "moving landscape from a train or such".

If the scene where the AE is locked is NOT the scene that you capture later (recompose after AE lock, long wait after AE lock and the lighting changes, you try to picture nearby scene from a running train, that kind of stuff), your exposure WILL be off.

Do you assign AE lock to Fx1, Fx2, Fx3 or AF/AE-L button? Do you make the AE automatically locked when AF is locked (C1 setting item 6)?
