Pentax ME Super - Light Meter won’t turn off

Hello! As title suggests, I noticed an issue early on when the batteries on my camera drained fairly quickly. Replaced them, light meter comes on, then I notice it stays on. How can I fix this?

Issue resolved! Apparently having the (broken) shutter timer moved at all made it stay on.

Moved to Trouble Shooting and Beginner Help. Repair and Warranty Service section is for feedback on Repair or Warranty Service (did they do a good job?) or advice on where to turn to for service.
