Yours looks a lot different than mine... here are some pictures. Glad to see that you have vignetting like I do, though. Makes me feel a bit better.

I have just looked at a 50-1.7F and a Vivitar 24-2.8A and the guards look similar to Lowell's photo, the Pentax is 6mm proud of the lens flange and the Vivitar is 6.5mm. They both fit on every K mount camera I have ever had including my Z1-p which is the same camera as the PZ-1P.
Demens, your post is for the PZ-P, but your picture is of the Z1-p which is the European version, how did you come by that?

I am not sure I follow 100% as I do not have those lenses; the Ricoh pin ended up being the problem with my lens.

As stated, I have a PZ-1P and it was purchased through KEH. I have had about... 3 or so months of travel in the ARA region over the last year and a half, but the only camera I brought back from there was an X-E4 and a Click.

It might have been at one time a grey market body. When things have been around for 40 years you never know how far they travel

I wasn't even aware that this lens existed as "KR i.e. R-K-mount".
In the forum list sigma primes there is mentioned a P-KM mount as

I just noticed, I never heard before this name before, maybe it is a mistake?

I didn't look close enough at the photos because the Ricoh-pin is quite obvious to be seen!

As I even wrote this tutorial for removing the Ricoh pin, this would have been the most obvious of course!

It wouldn't be the first time I have ended up with something that "does not exist on the web". I have a Genesis album that, according to discogs, does not exist either (though it looks like it might finally be on there).

Lens was purchased through KEH as well, when I bought my K1000, I believe.

Like my aforementioned Genesis album, I have almost a full set of Genesis albums stamped as property of the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. Ended up here in the southern US from a retired radio host.
