Grazie

Good morning, I recently got the camera with which my father, who is now 88 years old, used to take photographs. A Pentax Asahi Spotmatic F. I wanted to ask first of all, do I cause any damage by replacing the old 1.35 battery with a 1.5? The acronym purchased is this:

EPx625a

While the acronym on the old battery is this
Px625a

However, to be safe I haven't inserted it yet and I could possibly change it at the shop.

Thank you

A 1.5v battery would not cause any damage, but the meter would not be accurate. Adapters exit that reduce the voltage of a 1.55v silver oxide battery or you can use a Wein Cell zinc oxide battery (or a 675 zinc oxide battery with a simple adapter ring)
