Date/Time Stamping Pictures

Hello all,

At times I like to time and date stamp some of my pictures, I've read through my manuals on my Pentax K200D and can't find the answer? Yes, No? And if yes, ......how??

you can choose to save them with the name: "date" i think.
Shooting in RAW+it will give you the time and day, at least while open them in Pentax Camera Browser

(this is for pentax k20d....should be the same with k200)

try it and answer

I have a separate book on the K200d and no where does it say that it will display the date/time stamp on the photo. Only how to set it up in the menu.

I believe date stamping is part of the DPOF format (Digital print order format) that you may record to selected files, so when this files come to a printing service, the date is stamped on the back of the picture (or front in whatever format is available by the printing service).

Some image managing programs such as AD-DC, allow to include date stamping (along other selectable exif data) when you print at home.

The time and date are in the EXIF data...

If you want it printed on the photo, you can use a shareware program like "Gena Photostamper" which will superimpose the time and date with a font of your choice. I believe ACDsee also does that now.
