A few others that have been used in this thread:

CA - Chromatic Abberation

PF - Purple Fringing

FL - Focal Length

SR - Shake Reduction

Thanks OregonJim

I did not know what PF stood for. I am getting the hang of these internet abrieviations however.

Thanks Marc.

Part of me feels dumb. I should have picked up on TC, I knew what FL was instantly.

I had no idea however what IMHO ment.
In addition to its regular meaning, in photography "MF" has two other uses: "manual focus" or "medium format". Context will usually make it apparent which is meant.

"Honey, I need MF! PLEASE?"

In my case, "MF" usually means "More Funds" for LBA...

It's "regular meaning"? Um, "mezzo forte"?

I had to look that up to see what it was. Name sounded vaguely familiar once you mentioned it; I was thinking maybe a brand of motorcycle. I guess I was in the right ballpark at least.

Interesting how one's experiences shape one's concept of what "usual" is, though. In my worlds, the "usual" meaning of MF is mezzo forte (medium strong). The secondary meaning that would be familiar to other jazz fans is Maynard Ferguson.

Fellow musician, how about these:
PP very soft / post processing
MF medium volume / manual focus / medium format
F a word used right after dropping a DA* lens into the swamp
FF fortissimo (very loud) / full frame / words used when the lens was on the K10D
