K10D w/ Vivitar Series 1 70-210 lens

Thank you to fellow member daacon, I am now a Pentax DSLR shooter with a K10D

Anyway... I have a Vivitar Series 1 70-210 lens, and it won't fit on the body. I'm assuming there is some sort of adapter that I need.

Does anyone know about this or use this lens ?

Are you sure it's a Pentax-mount lens? The Vivitars come in mounts for several different cameras.

Some Vivitars have a flange that must be removed (or ground down) before they will mount properly.

Take a look at this thread...
