Those are both autofocus lenses, meaning they will work perfectly with any Pentax digital SLR. Manual focus lenses work too, but of course won't have auto focus on a digital camera any more than they did with a film camera, and depending on whether the lens has an "A" position on the aperture ring, won't support the auto-exposure modes, either. But again, your lenses will work as they always have - although of course the "crop factor" will give them both a narrow field of view than they would have had on a 35mm film camera.

As stated in the reply post above, the lenses will work on any Pentax DSLRs.

But instead of a K100D, I suggest the K100D Super. They are similar but the Super version has support for HSM lenses (lenses with intenal focusing motor), giving you more flexibility later on. The price of the K100D Super should be about the same as, or just slightly higher than, that of the K100D.

Of course if you can afford the later/better DSLRs (K10D, K200D, K20), it's even better.

Leave the aperture ring set at "A" (not any of the numbers) and the camera will work normally.
