Pentax K10D and extension tubes.

I consider bying extensions tubes for my pentax camera, but I get confused with the information I find online in general and at items for sale at eBay specifically.

I understand that extension tubes don't support automatic focus. Bu does any extension tube offer automatic aperture reading? Basically I want to mount the tube(s) and lens and be able to operate the camera as usual except for AF, is this possible? If so, which extension tubes to buy?

Look forward to some good advice.

Best regards
Torstein

You need extension tubes that have the electrical contacts for the A setting on your lens. They may be listed as PK-A or something like that, and are likely the most expensive listed for the Pentax mount. I would be tempted to purchase Pentax tubes despite the cost just to be absolutely certain they will work properly.

I could be wrong, I'm pretty sure Pentax hasn't made a set of tubes with electrical contacts. I just looked at my Pentax Extension Tube set, and no contacts.
Boz's page seems to agree with me.
