Interesting portfolio done with Pentax Reflex?

I don't seem to get any interesting photo and want to look for some inspiration. Does anyone know of good portfolios that were done with Pentax SLRs? I am particularly interested in fashion photographs.

Hi Anya, welcome to the forum. I think you would be better off going to your local library and borrowing some books about photography. You might find that once you learn photography techniques, inspiration will come on it's own.

If it really needs to be photos taken with a Pentax, look for books by John Hedgecoe. He uses Pentax, Hasselblad and maybe other cameras. But he doesn't say anything that wouldn't apply to any other brand.

He also has some fame as having taken the world's most reproduced photograph, though if I remember right, it was not taken with a Pentax.

That was interesting....

Which photo was that? The most reproduced photo. I always thought it was the image of Ché Guvera but I could be wrong.

I've gained some local interest, but I am definitely not big; not sure where I want to go with it... know what I'm saying?

There were actually two photo sessions involved. Hedgecoe photographed Queen Elizabeth II (with a Hasselblad 503CX). The photos were used by a sculptor to produce a plaster sculpture, then Hedgecoe photographed the sculpture. The second image was used on a postage stamp and printed 200 billion times.

A site which describes the entire process and hints at the politics involved:
