I was wondering if you guys had any tips on the half and half technique in portraiture..

Where your model/subject is standing there, but like one half is different to the other, e.g. she could have a purple checked shirt on the left side, but a red checked shirt on the right side, so its a normal picture, but its like mix and match.. if that makes sense..

But I don't want it to look naf, by rewining the illusion, and I don't really want to edit it, as I am hopeless with editing.. so do you guys have any tips?

Damn Brit

You just need to find someone who has a shirt like that.

If all you want is the shirt to be different on each side just have your subject slip one shirt half way on each side and button them together in the front. Add some spring clamps in the back to hold the shirts in place and shoot away
