Thanks for all the help. I have decided to just wait and get a stepup ring when I get extra money. The last one I priced was $11.99 at Porters. Is there another place to buy them besides Porters? I checked KEH and they don't have one that steps up from 55 to 72.

I just checked, Adorama has used CPL filters starting for $10 in 55mm. Thats for a Hoya in "E"xcellent condition. Beats a ring for $12 just to use one filter. Also have a 55mm Tiffon for $12. Just look under Used Equipment then Filters near the bottom of a long list.

I have a 72mm polarizer, I have two lenses who's filter size is 55mm. I was thinking because I don't have the money to buy a stepup ring right now, I might be able to tape the polarizer to the lens. Any suggestions?
