Autobracket feature on K200D

Ive read the manual and done a search but cant find the answer... so here goes...

I only purchased the camera 3-4days ago and already starting to feel pretty comfortable with the different modes...etc.. The only mode im a bit unsure about is the auto bracket feature..

My understanding from reading the manual is that when i press the button (fully) it will take 3 shots.. 1x normal exp, 1x normal exp +1 and 1x normal exp -1. (or whatever +/- exp. i set to).
After trying this out it appears that I have to press the shutter button x3 and each press the camera steps through the exposure increments +1,-1

Is that how its supposed to work? Is there anyway to get it to shoot all three shots with 1 press of the shutter? (This is how i expected it to work)

Hope that all makes sense...

Cheers
Tony

Go into your FN menu press up & then all the way to the right to your auto bracket drive mode.

Play around with the four settings & hopefully it will work. ????

The K200D doesn't have the one-touch AEB feature from the K20D, so unfortunately it's normal that you have to take each picture separately. I don't know why, I'd certainly like to have it...

(Thanks for the quick replies.)

Dam.. I was afraid that was going to be the case... Never mind, its the only -ve ive found so far. Everything else on my k200d seems to work as per my expectations.

Its not automatic sadly - but it still works.

Have a read of page 124 of the manual - item 7 states that three continuous pictures will be taken.

I've used this mode - just held the shutter button down for all 3 shots.
